The secret to Fann Wong's heart

Groom-to-be Christopher Lee is preparing cooking ingredients with just $20 to whip up three dishes and a soup for his fiancée Fann Wong. Among them is his signature dish, Braised Duck. This is an episode of Channel 8 variety programme which is scheduled to debut in December.

Chris has a preference for food with richer taste and Braised Duck, Ma Po Tofu, Lotus root with Pork Ribs Soup are some of his specialty dishes. He reveals to have whipped up these three dishes for his beloved girlfriend and he says, “According to her, it’s not bad!” But how does Chris really fair, the judges on the programme will tell you.

While doing preparing backstage, he appeared calm and proficient in washing and chopping the vegetables, slicing the ginger. This is the first time that Christopher is showcasing his culinary skills in front of the camera, but he is taking it easily. His opponent in the competition, comedian host Mark Lee, made a speech of confidence to challenge Chris but the latter is not intimidated. Chris says that the main objective is not to win, but to cook.

With a strong sense of familial values, he enjoys barbequing at his home in Malaysia and also particularly loves home-cooked food. He says that he will call home to ask his mom for cooking directions whenever he misses her dishes. However, he reveals that he tends to turn his kitchen upside down whenever he tries to cook.

Fann accepted his proposal early this year and their marriage has been set to be next year; they are currently amidst selecting the hotel for their banquet and that is already making him very anxious. Both of them are currently engaged in various productions and he hopes that they will not be fluttered and panicky as their big day draws near. Chris also hopes for a honeymoon break after their marriage.
