Recommend a Dog

Can someone recommend me a very loyal & protective dog (sometimes like German Shepherd or Rottweiler or Golden Retriever) which HDB allows? The dog doesn’t have to be big. Thanks!

Yoga Lin Singapore Concert 2009 Videos

To add on to the previous post below, these are a few videos on his concert.

Yoga Lin Concert 2009 – Singapore Indoor Stadium

Back from Yoga’s Concert, it was good. The only thing I would blame is my camera. After using it for 3 years and my first time going to a concert, my camera totally disappoint me. I still will post up pictures later, but the quality will be really lousy. I apologise for that.

As I wasn’t driving to the stadium, I left home early to head towards the MRT station to reach City Hall. The traffic was smooth and I managed to reach there fast. I headed over to Bras Basah Road to wait for Bus 16 to go to the Indoor Stadium. Waited totally 45 mins (after 3 buses of bus 16 left) before the 4th bus opened the door at my stop. Gosh I tell you, the people in the bus is overwhelming!

Long story short, I got there on time – 8pm but the show didn’t start until about 8.30pm. I flashed my $50 $120 ticket and looked for my seat.

In conclusion, the part where I love the most is when S.H.E started by singing 2 of their new album songs and ended with Superstar. The crowd roared. Oh yeah, I almost forgot, Ella asked Yoga who would he choose to date out of 3 of them, he chose Hebe due to a lame reason ‘cos I haven’t hugged her before’, then Yoga and Hebe hugged. During a song, Selina and Ella were basically rubbing Yoga with their hands and bodies, by dancing so close to him. He must have felt really sexcited. LOL.

I wanted to summarise this few points based on my humble opinions:

- Yoga Lin’s good at fast songs, slow ones just normal
- Yoga Lin’s jokes are funny to a certain extent
- Olivia Ong should sing English songs as it suits her more
- S.H.E’s charisma is definitely world class, just 15 mins on stage, they ruled everyone.

Oh well, now let the sucky “wonderful” pictures do the talking.

Bioskin

I am really spending too much on skincare and their products. I have been going to different skin centres/clinics for the past 1-2 years. Up to date, I think I have already spent easily over $5000 for it.

Anyway, signed up 2 packages with Bioskin months back, just came back from the O2 treatment. Not to be pessimistic, but I still see no improvement in my skin, be it the acne or the scarring. It’s really burning a deep hole in my pocket. I don’t mind paying big bucks for these treatment, but at least there should be a big improvement. But I’ve been disappointed seriously.

Anyway, just bought a new facial foam from them at $80….

Got 1 free body soap in terms of flower petal ._.

Many people will ask, aiyo, why you so stupid go for all these treatment? Since they don’t really work. Well, the reason’s simple. It’s really disturbing to see the scars on my face and it’s super duper obvious as I am a pretty fair person.

Sigh. I really envy those people with really good skin and those who can tan themselves dark.

Yoga Lin Concert 20 Feb 2009

Just got back from Clementi MRT Station. I was there to collect the Yoga Lin tickets that I bought with at a very good discounted price. The seller also got me his autograph on the ticket o.o

Busy Busy Day

I can definitely say yesterday was a really busy day. Woke up as usual to head for work. While working on a powerpoint presentation for my boss for his meeting, the calls just keep coming, every 5 mins after I put down the phone. Those who have frequent calls while doing projects should get how pissed off I get. Within 4 hours in the morning, I get a rough total of 30 calls. Throat dryness, lack of concentration for doing the slide was really tiring. Only had time breakfast (brunch) at about 11.30am.

Got a call from C to confirm meeting place and time for dinner. Then after that, work comes in again and I was quite lucky to be able to complete my stuffs on time. How dreadful it would be if I were to OT. For a mere 400+ a month, it’s not really worth it. But it’s not in my character to not do my best.

After work, I headed over to Millenium Walk (not sure how to spell it) to meet C at her workplace. It was her last day working at Candy Empire before embarking to a totally new job next Mon. Unsure to be surprised or shocked at myself, but yesterday was the first time I entered Candy Empire. They have a nice array of sweets but the price is ‘fabulous’ as well. When I reached there, it was only 6.10 so had another 20 mins to spare before she knocked off, recalled that I had bought 3 sistic tickets for my parents and grandma to go for some show so I went over to the M.Walk Reception counter to grab those tickets.

Once she’s out, we headed over to Billy Bombers at Marina Square. Billy Bombers have a classic yet bold theme. It was my first time there and the atmosphere was really good.

Looking at the menu, it has more dishes as I expected and the food portion is huge as well.

After trying the food, it was decent (with the different variety of taste), but not yet in the fantastic zone. If I were to dine in Billy Bombers again, it would more probably be for the atmosphere than the food. This is definitely the place to go if you are craving for some good old American food.

After dinner, we headed to Mustafa Centre as C wanted to buy some Red Potatos for her preparation for the special day. I circled the Centre 2-3 times before managing to find a spot to park the car. I was considered quite lucky as it was really packed with people and cars at that time. Mustafa Centre has really grown in size in these few years, starting with 1 building and now 2 buildings jointed together.

We did some shopping, but due to time and space constraint, we left the building at about 10+ 11. Managed to get home before 12 after sending her back, showered and K.O as there’s work the next day.
